SO, HOW DOES THIS WORK?

HERE'S OUR 7-STEP PROCESS:

1. Pre-Inspection and Fiber Identification

Your technician walks the space with you, identifies carpet fiber type and construction, notes problem areas and existing damage, and confirms which stains are treatable. This determines the cleaning solution, water temperature, and pressure used for the rest of the job.

2. Furniture Moving and Area Prep

Small and light furniture is moved by your technician. Heavy furniture can be moved as well if you are wanting a full room area cleaning. Protective blocks go under furniture legs to prevent stain transfer while carpets dry.

3. PRE-VACUUMING

If needed, we will vacuum any silt, dirt, or other particles that need to come out before any moisture is introduced.

4. Pre-Conditioning and Spot Treatment

A pre-conditioning agent is applied to break down oils, soil, and protein-based stains. Traffic lanes, stairs, and pet accident areas get extra targeted treatment before the main pass.

5. Hot Water Extraction

The truck-mounted system injects heated cleaning solution under pressure and immediately extracts it along with dissolved soil, dust mites, and allergens. This is the method most carpet manufacturers require to keep warranty coverage valid.

6. Deodorizer Application

Deodorizers are applied where pet odors, smoke, or mildew smells are present.

7. Final Walkthrough

Your technician walks the finished work with you, reviews drying guidance, and collects payment.

VISIT TIME

Usually, it takes about 30 minutes per room. This can change depending on: how much furniture needs to be moved, how dirty the carpet is, and if there’s any need for spot or odor removal treatments.

DRYING TIME

Carpets usually take about 6-12 hours to fully dry, but drying time can vary depending on your home's air conditioning, outside weather, and carpet type.

Frequently asked questions

We've been doing this for almost 25 years, so we've heard just about everything. Here are the questions that come up most, answered:

Can you remove tough stains like pet urine?

Yes! Our stain removal treatments target deep-set stains, including pet accidents.

What method do you use for carpet cleaning?

Hot water extraction. It’s similar to steam cleaning, but the water isn’t quite as hot. This makes it easier on your carpet fibers, so you get the best of both worlds: the deepest clean and a method that’s gentle on your carpet!

Does your cleaning process leave residue behind?

No. Our deep clean leaves nothing behind but clean, fresh surfaces.

How long will it take to clean my carpets?

Usually, it takes about 30 minutes per room. This can change depending on:

  • how much furniture needs to be moved
  • how dirty the carpet is
  • if there’s any need for spot or odor removal treatments.
Does your cleaning help with allergies?

We can’t guarantee it will fix your allergies, but it can definitely help! Our deep cleaning processes remove up to 96.5% of common household allergens.

What areas do you service?

We are based in Woodstock, IL and service all of McHenry County, including parts of Lake County, Cook County, Kane County, DeKalb County, Boone County, Walworth County and Kenosha County.
